Introducing Asbestos Watch

Asbestos Watch has been created as a single-issue site, exclusively covering and investigating asbestos related issues. We are seeking to provide ongoing coverage of this issue, with breaking news, deep analysis of the issues, investigative reports, and interviews with experts on the subject.

In the near future, we hope to have an extensive library of official documents regarding ampibole asbestos, and other features to help make the complicated issues surrounding this story more easily understandable.

We are admittedly starting off on a shoe string. We hope to do big things in the future, but for now, we’re doing what we can to keep this issue in the light, and to keep digging for the truth.

Check back often, as we plan to constantly update and improve, making this site more and more user friendly. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the three new stories that follow in our features section, and  get some use out of our archives of past coverage on these issues.

We also hope our forum provides a useful tool for connecting people around the world who have been effected by this issue.

When Govt can knowingly allow Corporations to knowingly kill, We The People, and do nothing to stop it,Then, We The People, have a Govt just as GUILTY as the Corporations, for killing us.
And the killings continue as Libby continues to be sold as safe…
    Whats,We The People, to do????
Bless you Paul Peters for caring.Thank you.

You have identified the problem Mike.
Sadly there is not much a common man can do to remedy such a huge situation.
And you/I/we all, know this is a HUGE situation.

  3. Terry Trent says:

Well, yes it is huge. And it is nice to hear you Mike right on target. As to what we can do? All of this has to do with one thing and one thing only. That is the recognition by EPA of different fiber toxicity and the institution of regulations that take this toxicity into account (for example Libby should never, ever have been considered equal to San Francisco).

What you can do? Bitch to high heaven in the loudest voice you can manage, to every person who might be able to change this situation. Let them know that you know and will tell everyone else you know. Let them know every single time you hear them lie about it, or fake testing or fake the science. Let every reporter or book writer who publishes something different know that he has made a huge and stupid mistake. They can not live down the embarrassment forever.
    Best,
    Terry

Story of 4 year old with Meso… So so sad…Someone has to stop the continued deadly exposure to new people being lied to that Libby is safe. There are many Zaida’s in Libby and all over this country. Maybe not this young, this is the first of 4 yrs I have heard of but this point is made. Now we need to protect the children and that means staying away from Libby Mt. Good start huh..
